Women in Rwanda

Rwanda is so known for its heartbreaking history, yet even within that history there are too few widespread efforts to share the direct voices of Rwandans sharing their stories and culture. We want to learn more about the culture that brings us such unique coffees, and simultaneously celebrate the talent of writers past and present.

If you’d like to stay involved with the book club and live too far to attend the meetings, please get in touch and we can share meeting minutes, discussion topics, and other resources as they come up!

Where & When:

The first meeting will be held at 7:45pm at Joe Coffee Amsterdam (271 Amsterdam Ave at 73rd St) on Tuesday, March 5 2019. Stay tuned for future meeting locations!
