FAQ

How do I buy coffees produced by women?

This is a great question. We recommend you begin by searching the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Coffee Listings to start.

If you already have relationships with a particular import or export company, talk to them. If you don’t know what to ask, just start with some basics. Ask them about their sourcing strategies. Do they carry coffees produced by women? How do they measure or engage with gender equity in the coffees they carry or the regions where they purchase? What organizations do they support? Could they connect you with someone who can help you learn about where your coffee is grown?

What organizations positively affect the lives of women in coffee-growing regions?

Please consider donating to, volunteering for, or otherwise supporting these excellent organizations who are immediately impacting sustainability and gender equity (in no particular order):

Would the WICP feature a woman in my supply stream?

We’d love to. This is the heart of our work, asking questions and listening to women’s perspectives outside of a business relationship. Connect us!
